ABS has been providing best-in-class products and exceptional customer service for more than 25 years throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island SUMMARY OF POSITON As an experienced Controls Engineer (DDC), you will serve as a key player with Automated Building Systems, Inc.'s Construction Group. You will have the opportunity to design and produce AutoCAD Drawings of Direct Digital Controls using specifications and drawings produced by the Engineer of Record. You will also be expected to produce As-built documentation upon project completion and provide Technical Support for project managers and field installation personnel. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience as a controls/applications engineer with building automation industry experience desired. Must have an understanding or ability to learn HVAC equipment; Strong understanding or desire to learn Electrical Schematics; and Understanding or ability to learn BAS components. Must have strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office and AutoCad programs. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload, and work as a team required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills a plus. ABS offers a competitive salary and an outstanding work environment. The project engineer works closely with, and receives direction from, multiple project managers and will work on several projects in multiple phases. |
