Alerton TUXs are intelligent, stand-alone Direct Digital Control (DDC) controllers that connect directly to building equipment. TUXs are available in a multitude of configurations to match any type of application. They perform all DDC control algorithms and are used to form a network of building controllers. Alerton TUXs can be divided into the following groups: programmable, application specific, and general purpose.

General purpose TUXs have a prescribed internal program and receive operating instructions from a global controller.

TX-16160—16 eight-bit inputs, 16 digital triac outputs. It is typically used for general purpose applications that have high point counts, such as motor control centers and lighting control when connected to an Alerton global controller.
