PCL-AB-PLC5

The Alerton PCL-III (Protocol Converter Link) is a microprocessor based controller that converts data formats and signal types to an Alerton-compatible format. It provides a bridge to interconnect the Alerton energy management and control system with a non-Alerton controller. The PCL-III performs no control functions.

Data may be received and transmitted from the non-Alerton controller to the PCL-III. This allows the user to change system setpoints and other operating parameters in the non-Alerton controller using an Alerton IBEX operator workstation. It also enables the Alerton global controller to seamlessly integrate non-Alerton equipment with its control strategy.
