WEBtalk 2.0Alerton's WEBtalk™—based on our pioneering BACtalk® system—automatically reads building automation system (BAS) data from BACtalk and translates the data to familiar WEB pages. Authorized users simply log in using a Web browser to gain access to system data. At the heart of WEBtalk is the WEBtalk IPort™, a network appliance that translates building automation data to Web pages. The IPort is based on server-class hardware and is designed to run indefinitely without scheduled maintenance. WEBtalk enables users to view, acknowledge, and temporarily disable alarm notifications and sounds for the current session. The schedule feature offers weekly views as well as all scheduled holiday, standard, and event occurrences. Trend logs enable facilities managers to view sampled data in chart or graph form, then download data to any application that supports .csv files to create charts and graphs for more sophisticated analysis and reporting. WEBtalk offers up real-time data on graphical, intuitive WEB pages, and only allows access to those with appropriate security privileges. Site engineers and others can now use a standard Web browser to monitor and control critical building automation data with unmatched ease. ResourcesData
