BACnet International

As the leading BACnet® manufacturer, Alerton is proud to be one of the founding members of BACnet International (previously BACnet Manufacturers Association™, or BMA). We feel that it is important Alerton play a pivotal role in this organization to promote BACnet in the industry.

BACnet International is an organization of companies that design, market, and install building automation products. All of the member companies are either offering or plan to offer products that are BACnet compliant and are committed to ensuring that their BACnet products will interoperate.

BACnet International supports the ASHRAE/ANSI BACnet standard that enables easy integration of building automation and control equipment. BACnet International formed the BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL) to perform compliance in interoperability testing of BACnet building automation products. Testing tools developed by the BTL are made available to members. Products that pass the testing requirements are marked with the BTL logo and listed by BACnet International.
