For Immediate Release:Ken Bartram, Alerton’s Newest Support Technician, Offers Comprehensive Industry ExpertiseRedmond, WA (November 26, 2007)—Building automation pioneer Alerton (www.alerton.com) today hired Ken Bartram to provide technical support to callers with questions about the company’s industry leading BACtalk product line. In addition to working as an electrician for five years and as an independent consultant, Bartram has more than 10 years’ experience as a system applications engineer in the heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) industry, with prior positions at Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trammel-Crow and McDonald-Miller. “Ken has so much industry experience with multiple manufacturers and systems that he can offer customers extremely diverse technical support,” said Wayne Budbill, Alerton’s manager of customer support services. “Ken also brings electrical expertise to round out an already comprehensive understanding of the challenges dealers may face in the field.” Prior to joining Alerton, Bartram was an engineer with McDonald-Miller, working on a variety of control systems, including Honeywell, Carrier and Staefa. Before that, Bartram worked as an independent consultant, engineering building controls projects that included the Washington State capitol campus, Washington’s Department of Transportation, the University of Washington and Monroe Elementary school. In his spare time, Bartram enjoys buying and selling real estate, raising livestock and spending time with his three daughters.
