Product Marketing Specialist Phil Smith Joins Alerton to Support Industry-Leading BACtalk Product Line

Redmond, WA (November 3, 2006)—Building automation pioneer Alerton (www.alerton.com) today welcomed Philip Smith as product marketing specialist in support of Alerton’s industry-leading BACtalk and IBEX product lines. Smith held prior positions at Quorum Review in Seattle and Radiant Research in Bellevue, Wash.

“Phil’s grasp of the marketing side of product development and launch brings a fresh perspective to Alerton’s processes,” said Mark Behar, Alerton product manager. “His experience can help us streamline our methods and deliver improved products to our dealers faster than ever.”

Prior to joining Alerton, Smith worked at Quorum Review, which oversees various clinical trial processes. While there, he served as project manager, working closely with research physicians and pharmaceutical companies to expedite recruitment in the study start-up process. Before that, Smith spent three years at Radiant Research, another clinical trial company, where he served as an advertising project manager, responsible for managing and executing a $3M dollar radio and television budget.

In his spare time, Smith enjoys hiking, running, electronic gadgets and vintage cars.
