For Immediate Release:

Alerton’s BACnet-Enabled T7350 and FLG-7350 Assembly Thermostat Simplifies Building Monitoring and Control

Redmond, WA (August 24, 2006)—Building automation pioneer Alerton (www.alerton.com) today debuted the T7350 and FLG-7350 assembly, which consists of a T7350 thermostat and FLG-7350 BACnet subbase. The assembly answers the need for a BACnet-enabled communicating thermostat for small to medium-size buildings or applications within any building or campus. Six models of the T7350 and FLG-7350 assembly, including relay and modulating versions, give customers a choice to best fit their needs.

“The Alerton BACnet T7350 is a very flexible and capable thermostat; it’s BACnet-compliant, comes pre-programmed to reduce engineering time, is supported by a large family of accessories such as economizer control and remote wall modules, and supports up to three heat and three cooling stages,” said Mark Behar, Alerton’s product manager. “The BACnet-compliant FLG-7350 subbase is also available to upgrade existing T7350 thermostats for integration into a BACnet control system.”

The T7350 and FLG-7350 assembly features scheduling, a humidity sensor, remote sensor capability and more. Users can mount the T7350 thermostat on the FLG-7350 subbase for BACnet functionality and use Envision for BACtalk data displays to access, monitor, and control T7350 parameters. This fully equipped assembly makes it easy to network outlying buildings and more accurately capture tenant billing. It is ideal for condominiums, strip malls, school portables and other buildings with single zone rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps or hot/chilled water systems.

The T7350 and FLG-7350 assembly is ideal for users who need reduced installation or labor costs, post-wiring network capabilities, or who want to upgrade from LON or non-communicating units. The T7350 is ready directly out of the box or users can add the FLG-7350 subbase and configure the assembly to integrate with a BACnet network.
