Alerton Announces Envision for IBEX 2.0

Redmond, WA (April 21, 2004)—Building automation systems pioneer Alerton Inc. (www.alerton.com) today announced the release of version 2.0 of its Envision for IBEX operator workstation software for building automation systems. Alerton added communication code to enhance IBEX system operation on enterprise Ethernet networks.

A single Envision for IBEX server can now seamlessly support up to 32 global controllers over Ethernet, Caskey explained, and users can access the system as they would any other office application from anywhere in the enterprise.
